About Us

Inspired by my pop-pop, who all his life was known as the green thumb of the family, growing his crops with a great deal of love, sweat, and frustration (mostly love though). Some of my fondest memories growing up in the mountains of Pennsylvania, every Summer getting the grand tour of what my pop-pop was growing that year, oftentimes strawberries and tomatoes! Even more often, already eaten by the squirrels!! In the wake of his passing after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer, I wanted to do something that would help me feel more connected with him and honor him in my daily life, so I took up starting my own garden! Thus began my journey. Growing from seeds took too long, and buying a full-grown plant cost too much! In doing my research I ran across bare-root plants, the perfect medium for my garden.

After my discovery, my only issue was finding a reliable and trusted supplier. Everything was either too expensive, poor quality, or didn't provide the information I needed to succeed. That's when it hit me, "why don't I just do all of it myself?". Thus Strawbaby Farms was born, allowing me the opportunity to share in the love, sweat, and rewarding experience with fellow home gardeners. We are dedicated to helping you succeed and hope you will take your journey with us <3
